His Excellency Hadrammeh M. Sidibeh, High Commissioner of the Republic of The Gambia to the Republic of Senegal accompanied by Ms. Fatou Kinneh Jobe, Deputy Head of Mission of the High Commission paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of Portugal to Senegal, Her Excellency, Madame Florbela Alhinho Paraiba on 29th November 2022.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss about the bilateral relations between The Gambia and Portugal especially on Consular matters. High Commissioner Sidibeh addressed some of the challenges that Gambians are facing when applying for visas to Portugal and further seek the Embassy of Portugal’s intervention in addressing the challenges. At the end of the meeting, High Commissioner Sidibeh and Ambassador Paraiba expressed their commitment to strengthen the cordial bilateral relations between The Gambia and Portugal and further work together in addressing some of the challenges in the visa application process for the betterment of our peoples.
