The Association of Non-governmental Organizations in The Gambia (TANGO), on Tuesday 1st July 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the High Commission of the Republic of The Gambia in Dakar.
The delegation headed by the Excecutive Director, Mrs. Ndey S. Bakurin, recalled that TANGO, created in 1983, is the umbrella organization for NGOs operating in The Gambia. It has been founded to avoid duplication of NGO efforts and to minimize conflict and competition between NGOs.
