GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE GAMBIA VISA
There are different types/classes of Gambian visas issued to travelers according to the intended purposes of their journey to The Gambia. Any person intending to travel to The Gambia for the purpose of Family visit, Tourism, Study, Work, or permanent residence, other than citizens of The Gambia requires an entry visa prior to departure unless he/she falls under the category of exempted persons, or a citizen of a country with whom The Gambia has a bilateral visa agreement or waiver. That notwithstanding, some travelers depending on their country of nationality, may be required to first obtain an entry clearance prior to applying for an entry visa.
