On May 8, 2025, a delegation from the Gambia Port Authority visited Senegal for an official visit to discuss matters of mutual interest with their counterparts.
During the visit, they paid a courtesy visit to the High Commission of the Republic of the Gambia and shared information on the improvements and renovation of the port, as well as the implementation of a new ferry rotation schedule.
